healthfood store if you are lucky!
I buy them by the case on netrition.com... | | Ingredients | |
Canned green chili (entire can)
1 lb Plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup red Onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
1/3 cup fresh Cilantro, minced
3 Jalapeno, chopped (or less to taste.. I like it hot!)
3 tbsp Lime Juice
1 t grated lime rind
2 cans Black Soy Beans (netrition.com)
1 avocado
3/4 tsp Salt
garlic powder
| | Directions | | Step: 1 | mix all well...
will store in fridge for about 5 days just fine...
omit the black beans and the avocado and you have a great PICO sauce..

don't be afraid of tomatoes.. the carbs are mostly in the seeds! |
